All deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit is received, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Each sanitation trailer is custom built to the customer's specifications at our manufacturing facility in Overgaard, Arizona. Upon placement of an order and receipt of the deposit, construction begins immediately, including the purchase of trailer components, parts, and materials specific to the selected options.
Because each trailer is made to order, deposit funds are used to initiate the custom build process. If a customer's situation changes after placing an order, the manufacturer may have already invested the deposit into materials and custom features. Reselling a trailer built to unique specifications can be a lengthy and costly process. While we are sympathetic to unforeseen circumstances, the deposit remains non-refundable once construction and procurement have begun.
Why Deposits Are Non-Refundable
Unlike mass-produced products, our restroom trailers and specialty trailers are built from the ground up based on your individual specifications. From the moment your deposit is received, resources are committed on your behalf, including ordering specialized components, reserving production capacity, and sourcing materials tailored to your selected configuration. These commitments cannot be reversed or easily repurposed for another build, which is why deposits are non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Order Modifications
We understand that needs can evolve during the build process. If you need to make changes to your order after your deposit has been placed, please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable modifications depending on the stage of construction. Please note that changes to your order may affect pricing and delivery timelines, and any additional costs resulting from modifications will be the customer's responsibility.
Damages & Defects
We take great pride in the quality of our trailers. Please inspect your trailer thoroughly upon delivery or pickup and contact us immediately if you discover any defects, damage, or issues that are the result of a manufacturing error. We are committed to standing behind our work and will evaluate the issue and make it right.
Damage that occurs during third-party transport is not covered under this policy. Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for information on how transport damage claims are handled.
Warranty & Repairs
If a manufacturing defect or workmanship issue is identified after delivery, Elk Creek Trailers will work with you to arrange a repair or replacement of the affected component. Warranty claims should be submitted as soon as the issue is discovered by contacting us at [email protected] with a description of the problem and supporting photographs. Specific warranty coverage details and duration will be outlined in your purchase agreement.
Final Balance & Payment
The remaining balance on your trailer is due upon completion and prior to delivery or pickup. Your trailer will not be released for shipping or customer pickup until the final balance has been paid in full. Payment terms and accepted methods will be outlined in your purchase agreement.
Disputes
If you have a concern or dispute regarding your order, deposit, or the condition of your trailer, we encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can work toward a resolution. We value our customers and will make every reasonable effort to address your concerns in a fair and timely manner.
